Theatre of NOTE

An irreverent performing arts outfit started in the 80's, Theatre of NOTE are the punk-rockers of LA's live theatre scene til this day. My goal was to intrigue the audience with the sense of mystery and danger that I feel every time I walk in there. The script told me what the show was, my love of zines and over-photo copied punk show flyers inspired the feel — if I could get it done with 3 colors or less, I did. I was also given the immense honor of designing the collateral for their big 40th anniversary bash, using every single title of every single play ever produced at NOTE to emulate the iconic brick face of the physical building. A creative home, built by art.
